On October 18 the International Department of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) held the 3rd Foundation and Admission Conference of Students’ Associations. Present at the activity were students in Grade 1 and Grade 2 of AHS International Department and their head teachers.

This conference witnessed the foundation of 14 students’ associations or communities with characteristics of AHS International Department. Directors of associations respectively introduced to the audience in English what their association means, its work procedures, the routine schedules and designs. The personalized innovation, the high spirits and the attractive speeches they displayed won applauses from the audience and well demonstrated the vitality as well as the diversified talents of students of AHS International Department.

In the concluding speech given by Liu Wei, Assistant Director of AHS International Department, thought highly of students’ preparations and the spirits and creativity they displayed and in the meanwhile expressed his hope that under the leadership of AHS teachers students should make good use of associations to exercise their talents, widen their visions, accumulate experience, make continual progress, and finally make the best preparations for their future study abroad.

Since its foundation in 2014, AHS International Department has always been attaching importance to students’ associations and has carried out the construction project, contributing to the development of students’ associations to be organized under the consistent instructions, to be curriculum-oriented, and to be credit-related. The series of students’ activities that AHS International Department has hosted have all relied on students’ associations and presented favorable effects.
