On December 28, Shandong Provincial Units’ Committee for Spiritual Civilization Construction issued “Notice on Naming and Honoring 2018 Civilized Unit under Provincial Jurisdiction” (2018 No. 7). High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) passed the reevaluation and wont the title, for the 6th time in successive 6 years.

Over the past year under the instruction of Xing Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and in accordance with the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, AHS has been attaching high importance to the work on civilized unit construction and founded the leadership of civilized unit construction in charge of drafting annual work schedule, clarifying responsibility subjects and carrying out daily work. Making good use of the opportunity of civilized unit construction, AHS has strengthened its publicity work concerning civilized unit construction, creating a dense atmosphere, gave full play to civilized unit construction in promoting the school work in all aspects，upgrading its educational quality and striving to build up a high school best catering for Jinan people’s requirements.

In view of implementing National Program for Medium-and Long-Term Educational Reform and Development as well as Shandong Provincial Program for Medium-and Long-Term Educational Reform and Development and in accordance with the spirit of Opinions of Shandong Province on Promoting the Comprehensive Reform of Basic Education, centering on its development goal of “undertaking better education and building en excellent high school with university characteristics”, AHS has been comprehensively carrying out the quality education intended for life construction and forging the platform for the comprehensive development of each student as well as their life-long development.

Since 2013 AHS has won the title “Civilized Provincial Unit” in successive 6 years. In civilized unit construction AHS displayed great unity with all parts fully engaged and work of all aspects has made remarkable progress. AHS has presented satisfactory achievements to society and was acknowledged as the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening Policy “Best Reliable Fundamental Education Brand” in Shandong Province.
