From April 29 to May 5, Men’s U19 2018 Chinese Football School Cup (Group A) Championship was held in Hang Zhou. Hosted by Chinese Football Association in combination with Zhejiang Green City Football School, the championship attracted 16 traditional top teams to attend including the Huis' Middle School of Shenyang, No.9 Middle School of Zhengzhou, Hangzhou GreenTown Football School and Cuiyuan High School. Facing the insufficiency of players, the Men’s Team of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) underwent 6 intensive competitions in 6 days and finally ranked the 5^thplace in the championship.

Due to the age limit as well as the approaching National Matriculation Test (NMT), most of the team members from Grade 2 and 3 were not qualified to attend the competition. Despite the personnel insufficiency, AHS Men’s Team successively defeated Hengshi High School Team and Bayan Nur City Team but lost the game with Hangzhou Xuejun Club in the group-game stage, ranking the 2^ndinto the quarter final. In the quarter final the AHS team lost the game to the host team Hangzhou Green City Football School. In the following Qualifying the AHS team successively defeated Anshan Team and the team of Shandong Zibo No. 17 Middle School and obtained the 5^thplace, with 8 students granted Level 2 Athlete Certificate.

High School Attached to Shandong Normal University has always been promoting the campus football programs with football courses set up as optional courses and “Principal Cup” Football Championship regularly organized. The school football team sticks to regular training and has made outstanding achievements in all kinds of competitions. It has nurtured a considerable number of football talents for universities and professional clubs.
