On May 16 Excellence 9 (E9) held 2018 Enrollment Forum of Shandong Province in Harbin Institute of Technology, Weihai. Wang Yuzhang, Principal of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS), was invited to attend the forum on behalf of AHS, which was awarded the title of “Outstanding Base School” by E9.

The forum began with the welcome speech given by Xu Xiaofei, Deputy Principal of Harbin Institute of Technology, Weihai, followed by a report on the overall reform of college entrance exam in Shandong Province by Zhang Zhiyong, Inspector of Shandong Provincial Education Department. The nine top universities of E9 acknowledged AHS, Yantai No. 1 Middle School of Shandong, Qingdao No. 2 Middle School of Shandong Province, and the other 28 high schools as their “Outstanding Base School”. After the ceremony the nine top universities respectively introduced their advantages and their admission information.

In recent years AHS has been adhering to its educational philosophy of “putting students first and achieving their comprehensive development” and committed to forging better education and the best personalized education and building an excellent high school with university characteristics. AHS has been recognized as outstanding base schools by many top universities. So far one Grade 2018 graduate has been admitted into Tinghua Unviersity and one Oxford Unniversity. One student has passed the autonomy enrollment verification of Peking University. Among the Grade 2018 graduates of AHS International Department 43 have received more than 200 offers from American top 100 universities and 30 have been admitted into American top 50 universities.
