High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) made outstanding achievements in the 17th National Creative English Contest, with 7 students winning National 1st Prize, 1 student National 2nd Prize and 2 National 3rd Prize. In addition, AHS students were also granted five 1st prizes, six 2nd prizes and eleven 3rd prizes of China’s Eastern District. Li Min, Zhang Shaolin, Li Xuemei and Sun Defang were acknowledged as “National Super Facilitator” and Li Xue, Liu Juan, Xing Jiwen, Ji Xiufen, Li Le, Zhang Ping, Zhang Songyan and Sun Liping gained the title of “National Outstanding Gacilitator”.

National Creative English Contest is hosted by a combination of College and University Admission Press, Peking University, Tsinghua University and a few other prestigious universities. Always following its principle of “promoting quality education, cultivating innovative talents, gradually transforming the current model of adhering to students’ scores as the only talent-selecting standard, exploring a system of multi-dimensional selection, and providing the opportunity for students with the gift in English learning to display their talent to universities”, National Creative English Contest has attained wide recognition of universities, especially those directly administrated by Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

As was reported, among the prize winners of the 16th National Creative English Contest 4708 successfully passed the primary selection of 2018 Independent Enrollment Test of Universities, covering all the institutions with the qualification to conduct independent enrollment.
