On July 11 the 14^thCSBA National Championship for High School Women commenced in the gymnasium of Dongdaihe schoolyard of Liaoning Province Experimental School. Throughout the 6-day competitions the Women’s Basketball Team of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) defeated in succession 13 teams from different places throughout China and won the third place. Their coach Cheng Xin was awarded the title of Best Coach and Yin Mengxin and Feng Yanchen as players were granted the title of Player of Sports Morality.

In the group game stage AHS Women’s Basketball Team ranked the 1^stplace after going through competitions with their struggle and stable technology. In the second stage against Hangzhou No. 4 High School Team which featured high speed and advanced technology, AHS Team displayed their persistence, their nice teamwork and their daring spirit and finally knocked them out by a slim margin of 6 points.

Hosted by China School Sports Federation (CSSF) and Chinese Basketball Association and organized by the local government and Liaoning Province Experimental School, the championship lasted 6 days, during which time AHS Women’s Basketball Team not only displayed their outstanding skills, high competitiveness and nice sports morality but also deepened the friendship among the players.
