AHS Students Made Outstanding Achievements in the National Final of IAP Elementary and Secondary School Student Contest

In the national final of IAP Elementary and Secondary School Student Contest held in Beijing, 8 students from High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) won titles.

With their comprehensive qualities and enterprising spirit those 8 students won national prizes, among whom Wu Han was endowed “Mathematics Silver Medal”, Hu Yuchen, Wang Mengchen and Wang Fangzheng were awarded “Mathematics Excellent Achievement Prize”, Wang Yijia won “Written English Silver Medal”, Zhu Tianxiao “Written English Excellent Achievement Prize”, Sha Longyu “Chinese Language Silver Medal” and Wang Xiaoping “Chinese Language Bronze Medal”

IAP Elementary and Secondary School Student Contest functions as a third-party comprehensive evaluation system hosted by a combination of the Chinese Society of Education, Public Education Research Institute and Public Test Research Institute and technically supported by the Chinese Society of Education. As an experimental project for elementary and secondary students’ comprehensive evaluation, IAP provides services like data collecting, professional support, cross-regional comparison research.

IAP Elementary and Secondary School Student Contest includes ICTS Comprehensive Qualities Contest (to be held in the second half year), ACTS Academic Competence Contest (to be held in the second half year) and PCTS Innovation Talents Selection Contest. It is intended to test and evaluate students’ academic competence, comprehensive qualities and innovation ability and help select talents for those well-known schools inside and outside China.

IAP Elementary and Secondary School Student Contest turns out to be a contest based on the theories and standards of national educational reform, evaluation and test. So far held in a succession of 9 years and completely according with the new national syllabus and new national curriculum, it provides a report of qualities and competence for each participant.
