Recently AHS Publicity Department and AHS Committee of Communist Young League have hosted students’ meetings to arrange the micro-film contest, actuallycommencing the 3^rdAHS Micro-film Contest with its theme of “Sun & Growth”.

The micro-film contest of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) started from 2014 and has undergone 2 sessions, producing a considerable number of excellent works and greatly cultivating students’ comprehensive abilities. In 2015 in view of better instructing students’ creation, AHS opened a school-based course named “Micro-film”, instructing students to improve their creation and cooperation in producing a micro film. In 2015 “Time” won the title of Outstanding Micro-film in the 3^rdsession of Ji’nan Micro-film Contest, the only one produced by senior students among the 17 award-winning works. “Seven Years-about a shelter station for left-behind rural children” was endowed The Best Micro-Film in National Micro-film Contest for Primary and Middle School Students hosted by Ministry of Education and the Outstanding Micro-film in National Youngsters Micro-film Contest (the 1^stsession) hosted by China Children’s Film Association. “Love You” won the 2^ndprize in National Computer Production Contest (Shandong Province) and the 2^ndprize in National Children’s Micro-film Show hosted by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC.

The 3^rdMicro-film Contest centered on the theme of “Sun & Growth” with the hope of guiding students to probe into their growth, pay attention to kindness and embody the core communist values. Unlike the past, the 3^rdmicro-film contest classified the awards into kinds of stories, documents and cartoons.

The deadline is May 1, 2017 and those works passing the initial selection will be displayed in the micro-film column of AHS web, AHS Sina Micro-blog and AHS We-chat. After a combination of experts’ evaluation and audience’s network voting, a set number of works will be designated to win the awards and an award ceremony will be held. Those award-winning works will then be recommended to attend the contests held in Ji’nan, Shandong Province or even nationwide.
