"Mayor Cup" 2014 High School Campus Football League drew a close in Stadium of Jinan No. 1 High School on March 30th, 2014.

Scoring 19 goals and losing 3, the football team of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) won the champion of the tournament again with the winning of all the five matches.

The League is sponsored by the National Leading Group of Youth Campus Football Work, and is undertaken by Jinan Working Group of Youth Campus Football . This event plays an important role in promoting the development and reasonable construction of youth football team of Jinan, with the aim of improving the students' physique and physical fitness, developing enterprising consciousness and team spirit, popularizing football knowledge, improving skills and finally forming a school-based football talent cultivation system in which sports and eduction are combined together to further enhance the football skill level of youth. In the meantime, the top two teams in the tournament also won the qualification of this year's High School Football League of Shandong Province.

AHS is the national traditional football project school, and the school football team has won such prizes as the national tournament runner-up, the champions of Province's Primary and High Schools League, conveying a lot of football talents to colleges and universities across the country, and 12 students entered the professional football teams. AHS was named the National Campus Football Elite School from 2004 to 2013, and was elected as the vice-chairman of the units.
