“No matter how much a person does, he can never really repay his parents for what they have done, just as flowers can’t repay the sun for its generosity.” Wang Chen, a prominent alumnus graduating in 1980 and expatriate living in Holland visited his Alma Mater AHS on the afternoon of December 22nd, with the company of his former head teacher Chen Zhicheng and his classmate Wang Dongkun. The Headmaster of AHS, Wang Yuzhang, Party Secretary and Deputy Headmaster, Tan Yinghai and Deputy Director of Office, Yang Renyong presented the meeting with him and he donated RMB 1,200,000 to AHS.

At the meeting, Wang Chen said that he did this all for his responsibility as a member of AHR and his deep affection for this school. He was grateful to the school and will always be in support of the development of her. He hoped that the money could be used as the fund to award the excellent teachers and students in this school and by doing this, more alumni will do the same thing as him to repay their Alma Mater. Besides, he would continue doing more in various ways for the development of this school.

Wang Chen’s head teacher, former Deputy Headmaster of AHS, Chen Zhicheng expressed his pride of being the teacher of such an excellent student. He mentioned that high school is among the most important periods of one’s life and his sense of joy and accomplishment of being a head teacher was fulfilled since Wang Chen didn’t forget to contribute to his Alma Mater after his success in his career.

Wang Yuzhang spoke highly of Wang Chen’s chivalrous deed. He expressed his pride of owning such alumnus as Wang Chen as well as his gratitude to Wang Chen for his donation and his support for this school. Wang Yuzhang indicated that it is the first time for them to receive such a large quantity of money and they would make full use of it and take this opportunity to lunch the education fund in order to award the excellent teachers and students.

Wang Chen also earned high marks from Tan Yinghai. Tan said that Wang Chen set a good example to the students here, which was really inspiring to them and provided great motivation for them to run a school of high quality.

It is said that Wang Chen has been engaged in the investment management of medical high tech overseas for many years and was invited as the best overseas investor to the banquet at the ceremony of the tenth anniversary ofHong Kong's reversion hosted by Chief Executive of HKSAR Donald Tsang. Besides, he donated a large amount of money in the 110th anniversary ofShandongUniversityas a graduate of it. Wang Chen has his unique perspective in the field of medical merchandising and dares to generate new ideas and he also has deep thinking over the cultivation of elites in medicine regulation as well as some new concepts on elite cultivation and subject development. Under the sincere invitation of AHS, Wang Chen promised to give a speech about his experiences of his success, his ways of thinking and his understanding of life in his next return visit, hoping to be enlightening for the teachers and students.
