Recommendation of“The Excellent Student of Shandong Province”was held in 3^rd-floor Meeting Room of Office Building on Xingfuliu campus of High School Attached toShandongNormalUniversity. The school leaders Wang Yuzhang, Tan Yinghai, Chen Dehai, Liu Congjun, Wang Xigang, Wang Bin, Zhai Deyu, Yang Renyong, and Zhu Xiaodong of English Department, Meng Yan and Yang Dongpeng of Chinese Department, together with representatives of Parents Commission, and representatives of students took part in the meeting. Zhong Ying from Class 18 of Grade 3 was recognized as “2012 Excellent Student of Shandong Province”.

According to the requirement of Education Department of Shandong Province and Education Bureau of Jinan City, 13 students from all classes of Grade 3 entered the final competition. sequence of giving speech to the Recommendation Assessment panel was decided by their drawing lots. Chen Dehai emphasized requirements and process of recommendation. According to the requirements, those who performed outstanding deeds, won national rewards in English or Chinese Competitions, or took important positions in the Students’ union , the Youth League Committee would be given priority of recommendation. Wang Yuzhang further put forward the recommendation principle of school’s preference to students’ comprehensive qualities.

13 candidates have given brilliant and wonderful speeches. They not only displayed their ability and achievements, but reflected their colorful school lives in the school for nearly 3 years, which has left deep impression to the interviewers. Zhong Ying from Class 18 of Grade 3 was finally voted as “2012 Excellent Student of Shandong Province”.
