From April 22 to 28, the 19th “National Football School Cup” championship was held in Qinghuangdao Training Center of General Administration of Sport of China (China Football School). As the champion of the 18th “National Football School Cup” Championship, High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) attended the match under invitation and finished second.

All together 20 teams from Beijing, Shandong, He’nan, Hebei, Jilin, Liaoning, Neimenggu, Zhejiang, Guangdong and Xinjiang attended the championship and AHS team finally came into the final after knocking out Zhengzhou No. 2 Middle School by 3:1, XinJiang College of Physical Education, Profession and Technology by 5:1, Anshan Football Club by 3:0, Shenyang Middle School for Hui Nationality, and Zhengzhou No. 9 Middle School by 3:1 in succession.

“National Football School Cup” championship is a traditional sports event hosted by Chinese Football Association for the purpose of promoting youngsters’ sports and their competitiveness and upgrading the cultivation of Chinese football players in reserve. It also functions as a platform for exchanges and mutual learning among those football schools of all levels and different districts.

High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) has made outstanding achievements under the joint efforts of teachers and students and exported a considerable number of qualified players to those well-known universities like Beijing University, Beijing Normal University, Tongji University, China Agricultural University, National University of Defense Technology.
