From April 9 to April 12, Guo Jiayuan, a student of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS), attended in representation of exchange students from China the ASSE Asian Meeting held by the company taking charge of exchange students programs.

ASSE Asian Meeting invited four exchange students from Asia to attend the conference, among whom Guo Jiayuan represented students from China. In her presentation she introduced Chinese customs as well as local manners, displayed Chinese traditional culture and modern excellence and interacted with representatives in answering their questions about China.

This meeting centered on topics of the settlement of Asian exchange students and the differences between Asia and America, through which representatives deepened their understanding of Asia-American cultural differences and knew about exchange students from Asia in a more various and in-depth sense. A good impression of Asian exchange students was left on them.

Guo Jiayuan entered AHS in 2012 and was the General Secretary of Youth League of Xingfuliu School of AHS. During her school life she was awarded such titles as Outstanding Youth League Member, Outstanding Youth League Leader. After leaving AHS she went to the US to pursue her study, actively engaged in communicating activities and well displaying the comprehensive qualities of AHS students.
