On April 5, Adam, Chief Coach of Men’s Basketball Team of University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) and his assistant coach Arkinder came to High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS), scouting basketball players and instructing their training.

University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a brotherhood school of School of Foreign Languages and Literature of Shandong Normal University with their well-run cooperation in the program of Direct Access to Canadian Universities. UFV has also maintained a long-term relationship with AHS. Adam paid this special visit to AHS on purpose of scouting Sun Haoyu, a basketball player of AHS Basketball Team and meanwhile communicating with AHS in basketball training. Adam presented a demonstration lesson of training. Men’s Basketball Team of University of the Fraser Valley has made outstanding achievements in that they have won the national Championship of Canada College Basketball League respectively in 2000, 2002 and 2004. In addition, their women’s basketball team also won province-level Championship for five times. UFV has always been attaching great importance to basketball training, each year granting full scholarships to two outstanding players chosen throughout the world. After watching videos, UFV expressed their high recognition towards Sun Haoyu and arranged this special visit to scout this outstanding player of AHS.

AHS always pays special attention to conveying students to quality colleges and providing them with more and broader approaches to higher education. Adam thought highly of the technical and tactical level of AHS Men’s Basketball Team and expressed his hope of maintaining long-term cooperation with AHS and receiving more outstanding student players from AHS.
