2014 National High School Track and Field Championships was held in Renshou No. 1 High School in Sichuan Province from 29th April to 4th May. Led by two teachers, Qu Guoyong and Chen Gang, the track and field team of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) participated in the event without making adjustments after taking part in Jinan High School Athletics League.

After five days’ hard fighting, with the result of 52.81 meter in Men's Discus and 16.70 meters in Men's Shot Put, Wang Tianxiang, student from Class 5 Grade 3, won the silver medal in Men's Discus and the bronze medal in Men's Shot Put. Jiyuan, student of Class 5 Grade 2 and Liu Xirui, student of Class 1 Grade 1 also won the 7th place of Women's High Jumping with the results of 1.60 meters and the 8th place of Women's Discus with the result of 37.54 meters respectively. Shandong Province won the 7th place in team score. Because of the outstanding contributions to the event, AHS won the Sportsmanship Award.
