2013 Chinese School Football Association Cup sponsored by Sports Association ofthe Ministry of Education was held in Lijiang No. 1 Middle School inYunnanprovince from 27^thJanuary to 5^thFebruary. 23 high school delegations from 17 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities took part in the event, including High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China,YaLiHigh Schooland High School Attached to Shandong Normal University(AHS). Most teams participating in the event came from key provincial schools, which were Champions and runners-up in the provinceLeague Matches. The event is the 8^thnational school competition hosted by School Association, covering the widest range and having the most participants. Regardless of travel fatigue and altitude stress, AHS football team guided by Coach Chen ZHaohong beat other strong rivals in the group matches and entered the final. In the championship match, facing the former champion, the football team ofHigh School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, AHS football team tried their best but lost the game by one goal. Meanwhile, it won the qualification for the international school football invitation game.

Apart from the matches, players participated in various activities, including writing competition and talent show. Inthe award ceremony, Wang Zhibin from Class 9 Grade 2 was awarded the best goalkeeper, Liu Jingyu, Yang Jingren, and Wang Yiting from Grade 2 winning the first and second prize respectively in the national schools football writing competition, Coach Chen Zhaohong awarded the best coach. These achievements show the result of AHS football training and make the all-round qualities of AHS students stand out.
