Students of 15 classes of Year 2012 of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) started their practical activities at the educational practice base located inZhangqiuCity, a county-levelmunicipalityofJi’nan, capital city ofShandongProvinceon October 15. Present at the opening ceremony were relevant leaders of the base, Tan Yinghai, Secretary of the Party Committee of AHS, Xu Shishui, Vice Dean of the Discipline Office of AHS and all the head teachers and students of Class 16-30 of year 2012 .

At the ceremony, the leaders of the practice base welcomed AHS students who took part in this practice and made a detailed arrangement for it. Mr. Tan Yinghai encouraged students to set strict demands on themselves and to study and work actively to show the excellent mental outlook of AHS students. He also hoped that students could build up and improve themselves by joining in this practice. At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Tan Yinghai announced the beginning of the practice activity.

During the practice, following and guided by their head teachers and counseling teachers, students took part in 15 activities, such as raising domestic animals, evacuation drills, ecological investigation and robot experiment. Those activities promoted students’ comprehensive abilities and qualities. Meanwhile, there were also various extracurricular activities, like evening party and movies, which made students’ life there richer.

It was also reported that aiming at strengthening students’ physical fitness and their teamwork awareness, this practice was organized by AHS Office of Discipline, which was assisted by AHS Youth League Committee. It lasted 5 days. From Oct. 22 to 26, students of the other 15 classes of year 2012 will do the same practice.

Educational practice activities are an important measure to improve students’ qualities. AHS carefully organized this practice, and with the help of the head teachers students studied and worked hard in the practice, receiving good effect. It is believed that this practice will produce great impact on AHS students’ study and life.
