On May 18, 2019 the prize winner list of 2019 Jinan Primary and Middle School Student Makers Competition in Computer Design was publicized. 29 students of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) won prizes, among whom 9 were granted the 1^stPrize, 8 the 2^ndPrize and 12 the 3^rdPrize. 12 students got the qualification to attend Shandong Provincial Makers Competition.

AHS has been encouraging students to undertake exploration and innovation and attaching importance to nurturing students’ ability of practice, professional skills and critical thinking, thus providing a favorable academic atmosphere for students’ personalized development. Based on its courses of technology, AHS has made great efforts to develop school-based courses of maker education and push the growth of makers’ societies, gradually setting up a considerable number of school-based courses both featuring the characteristics of the times and meeting students’ academic requirements andforging a three-level course system in technology education, that is, fundamental courses, expansive courses and intensive courses. Through its perfected course system, AHS keeps on upgrading students’ informatics qualities and their ability of innovative practice, nurturing students with AHS characteristics and undertaking better education to build up an outstanding high school with university characteristics.
