As has been reported by the media recently, 2018 List of Top 100 Primary and Middle Schools of China was announced, among which High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) was admitted as usual.

Top 100 Primary and Middle Schools of China are the most influential schools in China, which are selected out after strict procedures by Schoolmaster Society consisting of approximately 200,000 elite principals throughout China.

In view of the feedback from various aspects, advice was considerably sought from experts in modifying and improving the related selection criteria, more impact factors were introduced to enlarge the information sources, and more official data on evaluation were referred to, all intended to make the list more perfect and more ideal.

As was introduced by the program organizers, the selection criteria for the 2018 list mainly covered media reports, teachers’ research and teaching results, prizes won by the school as well as its teachers, awards obtained by students, social reputation on students’ academic achievements, the propaganda of the school’s educational philosophy, and some other dimensions. As a new media platform with a membership of approximately 200,000 elite principals, Schoolmaster Society undertook rounds of selection intended for almost 2,000 primary and middle schools and finally uncovered the list of 2018. Different from the list of 2017, the list of 2018 made three lists respectively intended for primary, junior middle and senior middle schools.
