On December 18 Professor John, Assistant Dean of School of Business of University of Southern California, paid a visit to High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS).

Professor John introduced to students of AHS International Department the information related to business as a major in University of Southern California as well as the relevant fundamental knowledge of finance and accounting. As he pointed out, those branch schools attached to the college system in California attach higher importance to students’ academic achievements in senior high schools (GPA).

Professor John presented an introduction of the admission procedure and requirements for applying for University of Southern California as well as the research programs of Ivy League, encouraging students to actively participate in targeted social practice in their high school years, especially concerning academic competitions or scientific research.

Then came the time for free questions by students, to which Mr. John responded with patience.

Since its foundation in 2014, AHS International Department has witnessed the graduation of students of two grades, who are now pursuing their study in prestigious universities in the United States, Canada, Australia and other countries. The outstanding spirits and academic qualities displayed by AHS graduates have won recognition of those admission officers from universities abroad and they increasingly offer to establish contacts with AHS and deepen mutual exchanges.
