From August 17 to 19, the field and track preliminary of the 24^thShandong Provincial Sports Meet as well as 2018 Shandong Provincial “China Sports Lottery Cup” Field and Track Championship (Group C), which was sponsored by Shandong Administration of Sports and hosted by Shandong Provincial Field and Track Sports Management Center, Shandong Provincial Association of Field and Track and Weihai Municipal Administration of Sports, was held in Sports Garden of Wendeng City.

Geng Jiaqi, a student from the field and track team of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS), attended the championship representing Jinan City and attained two championships respectively in Women’s Triple Jump and Women’s High Jump (Group C). Geng will go to Qingdao and attend the final on behalf of Jinan which will be held there in October.
