On July 1, High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) held 2018 School Open Day simultaneously in the two schoolyards. Present at the activity providing consulting services were all AHS cadres, directors of AHS departments, more than 90 master teachers, members of AHS Parents Committee, outstanding graduates of the year 2018 and AHS student volunteers. Students of junior high schools and their parents could vividly experience the education and teaching and living atmosphere, really feel the specific culture with characteristics of a university and get in close touch with the confidence and strength AHS has displayed in striving to carry on better education and building up a distinguished high school with college characteristics.

The two school yards opened to the public their robot labs, science and technology labs, digital labs of physics, chemistry and biology, the history-teaching classrooms and other faculties. Many consulting stands were set up to provide consulting services, through which graduates of junior high school and their parents could have a deeper understanding of AHS by attending various activities, visiting AHS teaching faculties and undertaking consultation.

In Xingfuliu schoolyard students and their parents could have access to the school canteen and students’ dormitory, which won their consistent recognition with delicious foods and a comfortable, safe and sweet boarding environment.

The 1-day visit, consultation and communication have enabled students and their parents to have a better and deeper understanding of AHS’s educational philosophy, cultural circumstance, its cultivation of top talents and students’ comprehensive development and its educational and teaching quality.
