On November 29, 2017,in QinhuangdaoTraining Base of General Administration of Sport of China ended the 20^th“China Football School Cup” Championship hosted by Chinese Football Association. Men’s Football Team of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) ranked as the runner-up of the championship.

The championship was attended by 24 teams from He’nan, Hebei, Liaoning. Shandong, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Inner Mengolia and other provinces or districts. In the group stage AHS Men’s Football Team successively defeated Dalian No. 13 Middle School Team, Cuiyuan High School Team, Xinxiang No. 1 High School and Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group Corporation No. 1 Middle School and entered the semi-final after a draw against Changchun with the highest point in the group. In the semi-final AHS team eliminated AnshanTeam but lost the game to Dalian No. 48 Senior Middle School, ranking as the runner-up of the championship.

High School Attached to Shandong Normal University set up its men’s football team in the early 1960s and its women’s football team in the early 1980s, both nurturing a considerable number of football players for the national team, provincial teams and university teams.Since 2000 the team has attended matches of various levels and so far has won a national championship, 8 runner-ups and 3 second runner-ups. As a school with characteristics of the school campus football, which was identified in the earliest time by Ministry of Education, AHS features a strong atmosphere of campus football, with football courses opened and campus championship organized.
