AHS Ranked among the First Membership Units of National Development Community of High School Attached to Universities

From November 26 to 27 2018 Educational Forum of High Schools Attached to Universities was held in Nanjing University. With the theme of “Constructing a Strong Education Country and Nurturing Creative Talents”, the forum attracted experts from more than 40 universities and institutes including National Institute of Education Sciences, Peking University, Nanjing University and Nankai University and representatives of over 150 high schools. Tan Yinghai, General Secretary of CPC Committee of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) and Vice Principal of AHS, was invited to attend the forum and delivered a speech on behalf of AHS. AHS ranked among the first membership units of National Development Community of High Schools Attached to Universities.

The forum, centering on the theme of “Constructing a Strong Education Country and Nurturing Creative Talents”, was intended to undertake innovations in exchanges between high schools and universities, interpret the current educational reform policies, establish the new mechanism as well as new routes for national talent selection and education, serve our nation’s innovation-driven development strategy, and reserve innovative talents for the nation’s development.. Tan, as the representative of high schools, made an introduction of the typical experience of AHS in combined education linking high schools and universities. All together over 20 universities and more than 50 high schools ranked among the first membership units of “the Development Community of Universities and High Schools”.

AHS has always been attaching importance to the combined education with universities, cooperating with universities to set up education and research teams, conducting cooperation with universities in developing courses and founding experimental classes and co-building and sharing educational and teaching resources, which have greatly enriched the educational resources, improved the talent-nurturing system and upgraded the talent-nurturing quality.
