On December 6 China Computer Federation publicized the list of prize winners of the 24th National Olympiad in Informatics in Provinces (NOIP 2018). All the 32 students of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) who attended the contest won prizes, among whom Sun Xinyue and other 10 students won the 1st Prize in Shandong Province and Wang Zihan and other 19 students were endowed the 2nd Prize, with the added number of the 1st and 2nd prize winners achieving the highest and thus a new breakthrough was made in the recent 5 years.

AHS has always been presenting outstanding advantages as well as achievements in NOIP. With the considerable support of school leaders and the joint efforts of students and their coach team led by Zhao Zongchang, AHS Golden Medal Coach, new breakthroughs have been made successively. Since 2000 all together 161 students won NOIP 1st Prize, among whom 26 were selected into Shandong NOI Team to attend National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI) and 3 students won NOI Gold Medal, 7 Silver Medal and 11 Bronze Medal.
