On the morning of April 2, a ceremony was held to confer “High Quality Students Base ofCentral University of Finance and Economics” as a title on High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS). Present at the ceremony are Li Wenbin, Dean of School of Management Science and Engineering ofCentral University of Finance and Economics, Bo Lu, Director of Students’ Affairs Office of Central University of Finance and Economics, Liu Congjun, AHS Deputy Principal, Yang Renyong, Director of AHS Administrative Office, Liu Minghui, Director of AHS Department of Teaching and Students’ Affairs, and Zhang Weipu, Director of Grade 3.

Li Wenbin introduced in the ceremony the detailed information aboutCentral University of Finance and Economics including its history, subject setup, educational achievements and social reputation. Li conveyed the full recognition to AHS graduates due to their outstanding performance in Central University of Finance and Economicsand also expressed his hope that AHS should nurture more talents into Central University of Finance and Economics. Liu Congjun delivered a welcome speech, introducing the basic situation of AHS education, its educational characteristics, and some information about Grade 3 students. In accordance with the principles of “strengthening mutual communication, undertaking deep cooperation, together nurturing talents and achieving common development”, the bilateral parts signed the protocol of quality students base. The two parts reached the consensus that starting from co-building the quality students base they shall further strengthen their cooperation, deepen their communication, upgrade their educational level and nurture more quality and high-level talents.

Under the direct leadership of Ministry of Education of China (MOE), CUFE is one of the national "211" key universities (one of the 100 universities to which the Chinese government has attached top priority for the 21st Century). CUFE is among the pilot universities building the national innovation platform for preponderant disciplines.
