Recently the Symphony Orchestra of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS), also Shandong Provincial Symphony Orchestra, won 1^stPrize in the 6^thPrimary and Middle School Students’ Art Show as well as 1^stPrize of Jinan Municipal Art Show. Sun Ke, Director of AHS Symphony Orchestra was granted Outstanding Director of Shandong Province and Excellent Guider of Jinan. AHS obtained the title of Outstanding Organizer.

In accordance withProcedures of School Art Education, National Primary and High School Students’ Art Show is organized every three years. Starting from 2003, it has presented 5 sessions so far and grown to be the platform with the highest level, the largest scale and the widest influence for students’ art education, greatly promoting the reform and development of schools’ art education nationwide. The show programs presented in 4 categories: acting, artistic practice workshop, art works and outstanding cases of primary and middle school art reform and innovation. The show lasted one and a half years, roughly divided into 3 stages. The first was the period when schools and government departments organized activities with the purpose of improving its popularity and participation, which turned out to be up to 80%. The second stage was for demonstration, which greatly strengthened the exchanges and communication among schools and areas. The third stage was the time for site show aimed to display the activity outcomes as well as illuminate its further development. AHS once attended the 3^rdand 4^thNational Art Show and respectively won 3^rdPrize and 2^ndPrize.

The prize-winning work named Passacaglia was presented by Zhong Ziyu, Jiang Peilinand Miao Xinyue, winning 1^stPrize respectively in the 6^thPrimary and Middle School Art Show of Shandong Province and the 6^thJinan Municipal Primary and Middle School Art Show.
