On June 9, am, High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) staged a grand graduation ceremony for Grade 2018 students in the gym of AHS downtown schoolyard. Present at the ceremony were Wang Yuzhang, AHS Principal, Tan Yinghai, General Secretary of AHS CPC Committee and AHS Vice Principal, Chen Dehai, Liu Congjun and Zhang Xianchen, all being AHS Vice Principal, representatives of students’ parents, representatives of AHS canteen and AHS property management company, and all Grade 2018 students and their teachers. The ceremony was hosted by Wang Jiawei and Wang Huina, two head teachers of Grade 2018.

On behalf of all the teachers of Grade 2018, Li Hongbo presented the best wishes to students of Grade 2018. In his speech he recalled students’ life and their growth in the past three years and hoped them to carry forward what they had learned in AHS and strengthen their belief and study in their future life with deep affection to their family and motherland.

As the representative of the parents of Grade 2018 students, mother of Jiao Kefan of Class 31, Grade 2018 addressed a speech, in which she expressed her thanks to AHS on behalf of parents and pointed out that AHS’s educational philosophy of “putting students first and achieving their comprehensive development” would not only enable students to have a good command of knowledge but also learn how to grow up to be a human. In the three years AHS teachers nurtured students’ academic achievements with their devotion to work, accompany students’ growth with their warm heart, moistened students’ soul with their true love, and broadened students’ minds with their great personality. She hoped all students to grow to be a person with a sense of responsibility, with positive energy and with deep affection to AHS.

On behalf of all graduates of Grade 2018, Zeng Wei, the award winner of Shandong Provincial Excellent Student, presented a speech of acknowledgement to the school, thanking the school for providing a solid and broad platform, thanking teachers for their meticulous attitude to knowledge and instructing students to walk out of confusion and hesitation to success, thanking all the staff for their diligence, thanking parents for their company and love, thanking their schoolmates for their immediate comfort and encouragement, and thanking themselves for the efforts and attempts that made in the past three years. “Being a student of AHS is my life-long pride”, she added.

Wang Yuzhang addressed the graduation speech titled “Shoulder the youngster’s responsibility and deliver your dream to 2035”, expressing his sincere wishes that all the “millennium children” would be admitted into their ideal universities. He expressed the school’s deep melancholy to the departure with its children and also his sincere expectations. He expected students to value their youth years and create sweet memories with diligence, to strengthen their belief and strive for their dream as well as a grand future, to shoulder the responsibility as a real person with concerns to our nation as well as the whole world.

In the final graduate representatives donated a souvenir to the school, a big stone from Mountain Tai which would be laid on Fanghua Garden of AHS Xingfuliu schoolyard. Silk banners were granted to the school canteen and the property management company as a gift to express students’ gratitude to them. Wang Yuzhang conferred Certificate of Graduation to each student with photos taken as a memory.
