On May 31, pm, in the Xingfuliu campus of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS), the Aviation Department held the 1^stManner and Etiquette Contest. Present at the contest and acting as judges were Tan Yinghai, General Secretary of AHS CPC Committee and AHS Vice Principal, Wang Yanxia, Director of Beijing GuangHuiJingTong Education and Technology Co. Ltd (Shandong Province), Wang Zhimin, Vice Director of AHS Administrative Office, Hu ZHaoqiang, Vice Director of AHS Committee of Communist Youth League, and Li Hongbo, Director of AHS Aviation Department.

The contest consisted of three parts: Manner Calisthenics Show, Talent Show and Aviation Knowledge Quiz Show. The 10 students that entered the final displayed their outstanding talents, especially in musical instruments, dance, Beijing opera, English and other aspects, fully demonstrating the diversified talents of AHS students with a combination of modern street dance and traditional opera as well as a combination of hot rumba and gentle folk dance. From time to time burst applauses and cheers from the audience.

The final eventually gave birth to the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rdPrize and other awards like Best Talent Award and Best Intellect Award.

Wang Yanxia highly praised the students’ professional display and hoped students to make persistent efforts and strive for excellent performance in the approaching National Matriculation Test (NMT). In his concluding speech Tan Yinghai expressed his thanks to all teachers and students of AHS Aviation Department for their outstanding performance and thought that this activity had fully showed the spiritual outlook of aviation students. He also hoped students to present better performance in the following stage.
