In view of further upgrading the school management, comprehensively improving its educational and teaching quality and promoting the professionalization of cadres and head teachers, High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) commenced 2018 AHS Cadres and Head Teachers Summer Training Course. All cadres and head teachers attended the 3-day training course lasting from August 27 to 29.
Wang Yuzhang, AHS Principal, addressed speeches respectively titled “Optimize Management, Improve Efficiency and Strive to Upgrade the Educational and Teaching Quality” and “Shoulder the Mission of Upgrading the Educational and Teaching Quality”. As Wang Pointed out, the educational and teaching quality is the lifeline of a school and all cadres should stick to a question-oriented work style, set up correct ideas and thoughts, embrace responsibility with courage and passion, raise the work standards and awake the awareness of execution and service. In his view head teachers, functioning as a bridge connecting the school and students’ parents, should follow the growth nature of students, adopt scientific methods on class management, educate students with true emotions to move them, correct reasons to enlighten them and noble behaviors to instruct them, stick to the principle of “putting students first and achieving their comprehensive development” and adhere to the philosophy of educating students with a combination of courses, culture, activities, practice and management. Wang stressed that in the new term the school shall adopt Bench-marking management, keeping up with the advanced unit and making comprehensive improvement in view of upgrading the educational and teaching quality.
Tan Yinghai, General Secretary of AHS CPC Committee, put forward the demand that all cadres and head teachers should carry forward the campus culture with college characteristics, upgrade the level of scientific management, raise the crisis awareness and stay together to rush forward with the purpose of further upgrading the school’s educational and teaching quality. Tan added that head teachers should strengthen their theoretical study, putting the moral education first, improve the management efficiency, attain their cultural confidence and courageously bear the responsibility of upgrading the school’s educational and teaching quality.
After the collective training, all cadres and teachers were divided into 8 groups for discussion centering on the core topic: Comprehensively Upgrade the Educational and Teaching Quality.
