In the evening, October 8, High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) launched the series of celebrations of the 10^thanniversary of Xingfuliu Schoolyard as well as “Forum from Us all”. Hosted by Hu Zhaoqiang, General Secretary of AHS Youth League Committee, the forum started with a lecture addressed by Zhao Deli, an exchange scholar of University of Hong Kong and co-founder of Jinan Pu Xin Education Group. Present in the forum were Xu Jianping, an AHS Chinese teacher, Zhang Xiaoxin, an AHS English Teacher, all members of AHS Students’ Association, all members of AHS Young League Committee, and those directors of student associations.

Centering on introducing study methods intended for senior high school students, Zhao expounded in detail five concepts, that is, observing the real life, learning to forge a good memory, mastering problem-solving skills, contributing to qualitative change and making career planning. In the time of introducing the learning methods suitable for senior high school students, Zhao offered suggestions for efficient learning and helped students find clear orientation in view of better upgrading themselves. Combining his own learning experience, Zhao expressed his encouragement that students should stick to their dreams and at the same time make down-to-earth dedication, striving for a new journey in such a renowned school like High School Attached to Shandong Normal University. With the words “every reality we face now shall be the future we are imagining”, Zhao’s speech ended.

As Hu Zhaoqiang concluded, Mr. Zhao, in light of the characteristics of senior high school learning, offered feasible learning methods and brought about deep inspirations in the audience. Hu added that AHS Students’ union and AHS Youth League Committee as student pioneers should not only present their good work in students’ affairs but also upgrade their learning achievements. He also expressed his hope that all students present should comprehend the speech in a deeper sense and put the methods into practice in order to achieve the overall development of their comprehensive qualities.

The year 2017 witnesses the 10^thanniversary of AHS Xingfuliu schoolyard, in celebration of which AHS Youth League Committee shall invite renowned scholars, outstanding alumni and AHS teachers and students to address speeches once a week, that is so-called “Forum from Us All”, in the hope of further enriching school life and broadening students’ knowledge and field of vision.
