On October 16 Crockett Marr, Admission Officer of Reed College, paid a visit to the International Department of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) and made close interactions with AHS teachers and students.

Founded in 1908, Reed College has long been enjoying a high reputation and nurtured those celebrities like Steve Jobs, former President of Apple Inc. Pioneering in a variety of scientific research fields, Reed College is famous for its high-level academic standards as well as its educational philosophy of nurturing creative talents.

Mr. Crockett Marr, who once visited AHS in November, 2016, presented his recognition on the positive spirits and outstanding academic qualities AHS students are characterized by. Xu Ruiqi, a first-session graduate of AHS InternationalDepartment in Grade 2014, was admitted into Reed College this year.

On October 16, ZhangWeipu, Director of AHS International Department, met Mr. Crockett Marr in the meeting hall and both sides conducted wide communications. Zhang first expressed his warm welcome to the guest and showed his sincere hope that both sides shall take this visit as a valuable opportunity and strengthen the mutual exchanges and communications in view of carrying forward such close cooperation and friendship. After the meeting Mr. Crockett Marr checked the application materials from students of AHS International Department and organized communications and group discussions among students, through which they became clearer in making targeted preparations for application materials. That night Mr. Crockett Marr addressed an admission speech for students and their parents, introducing in detail the admission standards of Reed College and the undergraduate enrollment situation in the US.
