On January 15, 2018 Jinan Bureau of Education issued in Profile No. 2 (2018) thePhase III list“Jinan Outstanding Teachers” and “Jinan Outstanding Educational Directors”, among whom 3 teachers from High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS), Ma Yanwen, Song Zhigang and Yang Ping, were selected into the list

The project of“Jinan Outstanding Teachers”as well as“Jinan Outstanding Educational Directors”has been carried out as a key measure to nurture a team of quality teachers in Jinan. In accordance with the principles of being just, fair and open and on basis of the primary selection and recommendation of each unit, Jinan administration organized the vetting committee of experts to conduct further examination and review and eventually designated 90 teachers into the project of “Jinan Outstanding Teachers” and 50 teachers into the project of “Jinan Outstanding Educational Directors” after going through the procedures of publicity and audit. Jinan administration shall strengthen the work on cultivating and administering those teachers and instruct them to come into full play in leading and exemplary instructions. They are expected to motivate all teachers in Jinan and promote the development of the fundamental education of Jinan.

AHS has always been exploring measures and paths to nurture teachers with “qualities of expert educators” and playing an active part in advancing the projects of nurturing outstanding teachers, thus forming a teacher-growing system with its own characteristics and forging a team of teachers with high morality, best virtue and excellent competence.
