In the afternoon, March 20, the annual 10,000-meter relay race was held in Xingfuliu School of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS). Wang Bin, Director of Teaching Affairs Department, Wang Xigang, Director of Sports, Arts and Health Department, and Hu Zhaoqiang, Vice General Secretary of AHS Communist Youth League Committee, attended the opening ceremony, together with all the head teachers and students of Grade 2.

Hosted by Sports Department, the relay race registered each class as a team, which was mad up of 25 students including 15 boys and 10 girls, with each student to complete 400 meters and the whole team 10,000 meters. The racers raced ardently and the cheering squads hole high their slogans, shouting and cheering, all combined to create a heated atmosphere.

Through the one-hour competition Class 21 Grade 2 won the championship of the science group with Class 27 and Class 25 respectively ranking the 2^ndand 3^rdplace and Class 20 got the championship of thearts group with Class 28 and Class 24 respectively the 2^ndand 3^rdplace.

The 10,000 relay race is a traditional event of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University, annually held in 16 consecutive years since 2002, aimed at promoting students to walk out of the classroom into the body-building activities and alleviate the intense academic pressure.
