On April 6, the 10th “Principal Cup” Drama Festival Show and Award Ceremony was held in Lishan Theater, attended by Wang Hongyu, Vice Principal of Shandong Normal University, Yin Hongmei, Vice General Secretary of CPC Committee of Lixia District, Ji’nan, Zhao Tiwei, Director of High School Students’ Department of Ji’nan Committee of Communist Youth League, Gao Hongbo, Director of Sports, Health and Arts Department of Ji’nan Bureau of Education, Li Mengyao, General Secretary of Committee of Communist Youth League of Shandong Normal University, Xiao Guangjun, Vice Director of Administrative Office of Shandong Normal University, Zhaou Tao, General Secretary of CPC Committee of Ji’nan Shungeng Middle School, Kang Dezhi, General Secretary of No. 2 Middile School Attached to Shandong Normal University, Li Fudong, Researcher of Chinese Language and Literature Teaching of Shandong Provincial Institute of Education Sciences, Wang Yong, a level-1 actor of National Theater of China, Zhang Ning, Vice General Secretary of the Primary School Attached to Normal University, Pan Hongling, Chairman of the Labor union of Foundation Education Group of Shandong Normal University, leaders from some high schools in Ji’nan, and those guests from the 15 units of No. 6 Cooperative Zone of Province-Control Civilized Units. In addition, leaders of AHS, Wang Yuzhang, Tan Yinghai, Chen Dehai, Liu Congjun, some parents of students in High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS), and teachers and students watched the performances.

In March, students in Grade 2 of AHS held the 10th “Principal Cup” Drama Festival, where dramas from 30 classes and 2 students drama communities were staged and won the praise of teachers and students. The 32 dramas were the brain-products of each class with over half students of each class devoted their time, energy and efforts to them, of which the 4 best representative dramas were invited to stage on Lishan Theater. The drama show was a great success, thought high of by the audience and receiving enthusiastic applauds.

Following the drama was the award ceremony, where awards were uncovered with the Best Supporting Actor endowed to Sheng Wentao, the Best Actress conferred to Yuan Yuxin, the Best Supporting Actor to Xia Haoze, the Best Supporting Actress to Li Xiaochuan. Shi Min, Sun Weiwei, Li Hongbo and Sun Guowang won the title of The Best Facilitator.

The Drama Festival was hosted by Senior 2 Chinese Language and Literature Teaching Department in combination with AHS Students’ Affairs Department and AHS Committee of Communist Youth League. As was pointed out in the speech addressed by Wang Yuzhang, Principal of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS), the Drama Festival well embodied the essence of a culture with university characteristics. Being a high school characterized by a university culture, AHS has been committing itself to building up an elegant and graceful culture to direct the school’s development and forge its temperament. AHS is a school with the daring to “open more windows for students to get through the current education system”. And through the window of the Drama Festival, students can well motivate their talents, forge their spirits, dig their potential, absorb the excellent culture, pay attention to the society and pass on the positive energy. Bearing the culture and temperament exclusive to High School Attached to Shandong Normal University, students are expected to live a responsible life.

The show was broadcast live all the way in Shandong Live Channel of IFENG. COM, the first time for AHS to broadcast live a large-scale activity with the online audience up to 5828 in its highest point. The online audience actively presented their positive comments, thinking highly of the performances.
