AHS made new achievements in NEPCS 2015, with Yang He, Yu Jingwen, Li Yixing, Ma Yuheng and Liu Shuyue in Grade 2014 awarded the national 1^stprize and a few other students winning the national 2^ndor 3^rdprize or Ji’nan Municipal 1^stprize. High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) was again conferred “Outstanding Organization Award” and Li Min and the other 6 AHS teachers “National Outstanding Instructors”

National English Proficiency Competition for Secondary School Students (NEPCS) is the largest-scale comprehensive English ability contest nationwide intended for China’s high school students from 32 districts including Tai Wan. Since its foundation in 1991, 25 sessions of contests have been held, well functioning as a incentive system to promote China’s basic education of English language. AHS once hosted a few sessions of the final contest (Shandong Provincial zone ) and has been organizing students to attend the contest with a considerable number of them winning prizes.

AHS has always been attaching importance to cultivating students’ comprehensive English ability. Based on English Language Association, English song contests, English speech contests, English poem reciting contests, English opera contests, English corners and many other activities have been organized in view of arousing students’ interest in English language and nurturing their comprehensive English ability and those activities turns out to be quite effective.
