The delegation of Wakayama Xinglin High School, under the leading of Kimura Tai, Academic Dean, paid a visit to AHS from 19th to 22nd September. Yang Renyong, AHS Office Director, Li Min and Liu Wei, teachers from AHS (High School Attached to Shandong Normal University) International Department, and five pairing students from International class hold a welcome ceremony. Wang Yuzhang, Principal of AHS, met with the delegation and had a deep conversation with them.

On the ceremony, Principal Wang Yuzhang delivered a speech, showing warm welcome to the Japanese friends. He mentioned that since AHS established sister relationship with Wakayama Xinglin High School, the two sides had made several exchange activities with each other successfully; the communication and cooperation between the two parts provided a stage where the two sides could learn about different primary education and exchange schooling experience. Meanwhile, it promoted the understanding and trust between the students of both sides and played an active part in enhancing cultural communication and cooperation. Then Wang Yuzhang and Kimura Tai signed up a contract to extend amity between the two schools and exchanged gifts with each other. The representative students communicated with each other, introducing their own school life, and expressed their best wishes by singing songs.

During the visit, the delegation attended class with AHS students and lived in the home stay, experiencing AHS schooling and Chinese daily life. In addition, they were shown around AHS school campus, visited places of interests in Jinan, including Daming Lake, Baotu Spring and Shandong Provincial Museum, and climbed Mountain Tai, so as to further learn about Chinese culture.
