The Ministry of Education issuedAnnouncement on List of 2015 National Youth Campus Football School and Pilot Counties (Districts)on September 21^st, and High School Attached to Shandong Normal University was successfully selected as one of them.

The selection of National Football School was operated in order to implement the spirit ofAnnouncement of China's General Football Reform and Development Planissued by the General Office of the State Council andAnnouncement of Accelerating the Development of the Youth Campus Footballissued by the Ministry of Education and other 6 Departments and was proceeded in accordance withNotice of National Youth Campus Football School and Pilot Counties (Districts) Selection Workissued by the General Office of the Ministry of Education. Experts organized by the Ministry of Education selected these schools based on the reporting of relevant units and recommendation of provincial education administrative departments.

The Ministry of Education ultimately recognized and named 8627 primary and secondary schools as the National Youth Campus Football School, and 38 Counties (Districts) the National Youth Campus Football Pilot Counties (Districts). A total of 24 primary and secondary schools in Ji’nan including AHS were selected.

High School Attached to Shandong Normal University is the Traditional Project School of National Football Sports, and has always been attaching great importance to the development of the campus football. The school won the champions of Shandong Province High School Football League for many times, and also won the championship of the National Football School Cup (sponsored by the Chinese Football Association). The selection this time offered an important opportunity for the further development of the campus football of AHS.
