On December 26, 2015,Shandongcommittee of Olympiad in Informatics hosted a conference in Rizhao No. 1 Middle School of Shandong to make a summary and recognition on the work of Shandong Olympiad in Informatics. In the 21^stNOIP inShandongProvince, 21 students from High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) made great achievements, including 3 students obtaining the 1^stPrize, 9 for 2^ndPrize and 9 for 3^rdPrize. AHS was thus granted the title of “GoldenMedalSchool” and Zhao Zongchang, an AHS informatics teacher, gave a speech in the conference.

AHS has made outstanding achievements in Olympiad in Informatics, so far 136 AHS students having won the 1^stPrize in Olympiad competitions and the school having conveyed a great number of talented students with specialty in Informatics into universities. AHS has always been attaching special importance to nurturing students’ individuality. With an easy access to experienced coaches and exclusive classrooms, students here can enjoy a quality academic environment to give full play to their talents in Olympiad. In addition, AHS has been offering school-based courses and courses for Olympiad in Informatics with characteristics of a high school attached toShandongNormalUniversity, therefore effectively exercising and nurturing students’ logical and mathematical thinking and settling a sound foundation for their life-long study.
