From March 21 to 24, the 11 members of AHS (High School Attached to Shandong Normal University) MUN Community took part in activities organized by Harvard Model United Nations China (HMUNC) inBeijing. HMUNC set up 14 committees, whose issues raged over a number of fields, including human rights, security, environment and technology. AHS students’ outstanding performance won praises from presidium. Zhuang Zengchen, Vice General Secretary of AHS Youth League Committee and Vice Director of AHS Student Affairs Office joined the students in this activity.Apart from Chinese delegation, young students from all over the world, including delegations of India, America and middle-east countries, assembled to play the roles of diplomats, exchanging academic viewpoints, absorbing deep reflections on current politics of different countries and negotiating regional situations and global hot issues. During communication, students build up friendship with the delegations. Meanwhile, AHS delegation received the invitation of an Indian high school and was likely to take part in the international MUN conference inIndia.

The activity fully displays AHS students’ excellent qualities as well as symbolizes the growth of AHS MUN Community, The school leaders attach great importance and support to the activity and look forward to students’ better achievements in later activities of MUNC.
