The 2013 Graduating Ceremony of AHS was held ceremoniously on the playground of Xingfuliu campus on the morning of March 13rd. The principal, Wang Yuzhang, Vice-principal and Party Secretary Tan Yinghai, Vice-principals Chen Dehai, Liu Congjun, Zhang Xianchen, together with some deans, representatives of students’ parents, school canteen staff, real estate agents, teachers and students of the campus attended the ceremony.

Accompanied with performance of the song Love Each Other Devotedly, the student host announced the beginning of the ceremony. The brightening melody aroused the enthusiastic atmosphere and the exciting rhythm inspired a harmonious environment. With hands held in their parents’, student representatives of each class in Senior three stepped onto the red carpet in two lines, indicating students’ respect and appreciation towards their parents for their consistent efforts and supports. All the teachers of Senior three in neat uniforms then stepped onto the red carpet vigorously and proudly to receive the saluting from their students who thanked their industrious teachers with sincere applause and cheering. The same happened when representatives of school canteen staff, real estate agents in occupational uniforms stepped onto the red carpet. Students appreciated their efforts for guaranteeing their living and study, and therefore, they expressed their respect and appreciation in such enthusiastic way.

The second segment is solemn flag-raising ceremony undertaken by students recommended for admission of 2013. Party Secretary Tan Yinghai then announced the list of students recommended for admission of 2013 and some students having received offers of world-famous universities. Representative of students and teachers, Shi Mingyang and Cao Shiyu, with one of the parents delivered a speech respectively. Shi Mingyang expressed her gratefulness towards the cultivation and education of the alma mater and teachers and asked for students to fight with confidence and perseverance in the last 25 days before College Entrance Exam. Representing all teachers, Cao Shiyu presented best wishes, hoping they can bear in mind the alma mater, carry forward the spirit of AHS, welcome challenges with great sense of social responsibility, sane and sensible personalities, profound knowledge and excellent creativity, to become the backbone of the nation and society. The representative parent congratulated students on the graduation, expressed appreciation for teachers and respect for excellent education and service offered by the school. He wished students can bear gratitude in mind forever for cultivation of the alma mater and teachers, and placed high hopes on the upcoming College Entrance Exam and future life.

The principal Wang Yuzhang delivered enthusiastic speech on the ceremony. Representing the school, he congratulated all the graduates and thanked parents, teachers and staff for their dedication. He said all graduates will became permanent and memorable history of the school. He encouraged students to struggle for better performance in the coming College Entrance Exam and hoped that they could turn themselves bravely from the season of having dreams to the days of pursuing and achieving their dreams. Last, he wished all of them could set sailing from the school, their anchoring harbor, and move on with their dreams of future.

Graduates received their graduating diplomas to the music of graduating song at the end of the ceremony. Representatives of graduates presented souvenirs to the alma mater and real estate agents. The rhythm of Love Each Other Devotedly sounded again and echoed on the campus.
