In the 3^rdNational Competition of English Reading and Writing for Teenagers jointly-hosted by Chinese Translation Association and The World Federation of overseas Chinese associations and so on, High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) was awarded “National Demonstration Base of English Reading and Writing for Teenagers”. Han Wen, Li Le, Gu Yanbing, Li Xuemei, Sun Liping, Yang Mei, Feng Wenhui, Yang Yang, 8 teachers of English T&R Group, were awarded “Excellent Tutor of National Competition of English Reading and Writing for Teenagers”, and their works were awarded “the Gold Award” of teacher group. 151 students were rewarded “the Bronze Award” and entered the final, who will also participate in the final and the Awarding Ceremony held in Beijing on July 21^stto 24^thof 2012.

The 3^rdNational Competition of English Reading and Writing for Teenagers is a nationwide English Competition for teenagers, which aims to improve English reading and writing ability of teenagers throughout the nation, discover and cultivate young elites, advance and enrich the fine cultural heritage of the nation, and promote cultural exchange of teenagers home and abroad. The AHS actively organized and tutored students to participate in it, with a large number of entries of high standard handed in, which demonstrated distinctive quality of English T&R Group from the ASH in cultivating interests of students’ English writing and improving students’ comprehensive quality of English.
