On September 3, with the coming of a refreshing sunny autumn day, the military training began for students newly enrolled into High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) this year as their first lesson in high school.

The green playground became alive with young smiles. Rigorously coached by 34 military officers from Shandong CAPF (Chinese Armed Police Forces) Corps, students showed their high spirits and energetically and seriously engaged into military trainings, with the consciousness of discipline and team work gradually fostered in them. Between trainings students learned military songs, readGreen Windand contributed their essays to the military newspaper, thus upgrading their spirit while exercising their body and will. The training in the morning went on smoothly and orderly. Over the training ,students will visit AHS History Museum in order to better know the school. And students in Xingfuliu Boarding school will learn to tidy up their dorms and be organized to pay a visit to Shandong CAPF Corps in view of strengthening their ability for an independent life.

Much importance is attached to the military training of newly-enrolled students in AHS, with many activity programs designed for their physical as well as mental growth. While students are sweating in training, their head teachers keep them company all the time. Those head teachers of the classes in Xingfuliu Boarding School will spend 7 days and nights at school, accompanying students in day training and guaranteeing a quiet circumstance for their night rest in dormitory. The school, together with the Fire Brigade and the local police station, has made consummate measures for emergency and on the training field an emergency-response team consisting of P.E teachers and school doctors has been set up for students’ safety.

We believe the students enrolled in the year 2012 can withstand the test over one-week military practice and make themselves tempered. Wish the military training a great success and students to achieve their comprehensive development.
