Delegation ofMiami School DistrictvisitedHigh School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS)on October 18th, 2012. Both sides had a friendly conversation in terms of education and cooperation. Many leaderswere present at the meeting, including Wang Yuzhang, principal of AHS, Tan Yinghai,secretary of the Party Committee of AHS and vice principal of AHS, Zhang Xianchen, vice principal of AHS, Wang Bin, director of the office of Teaching Affairs, and Yang Renyong, vice dean of the Administration Office.

Mr. Wang Yuzhang andMs. Charlene Burks, administrative director, both made a general introduction of local education and teaching characteristics to each other, expressing the willingness to make international cooperation on education and teaching. In addition, Mr. Wang communicated with Tom Fisher, principal of a famous school from U.S on working condition, education evaluation and the entrance examination.

In the afternoon,thedelegation participated in theSino-US high school 2 +1 dual qualifications mutual recognition Item Fair held in the school hall, addressing the advantages of Sino-US education and differences between two education systems, teaching resources and features of the education of Miami and Sino-US high school 2 +1 dual qualifications mutual recognition. Students of AHS communicated with the delegation in fluent English.

Miami School District is one of the biggest school district in the USA, rich in superior education resources, hoping to cooperate with China. This is the first time that U.S public school district has visited China to seek cooperation, which is of great significance for promoting Sino-US education cooperation.
