School’s Middle-Level Cadres Training Started

On August 25, 2011, the Senior High School Attached to Shandong Normal University started a training class for its middle-level cadres. School leaders, including Wang Yuzhang, Tan Yinghai, Chen Dehai and Liu Congjun attended, as well as all the middle-level leaders. Chaired by school’s Party Secretary Tan Yinghai, the meeting lasted two days. In his speech of motivation, Tan pointed out that after the establishment of school’s new leading group, our school has made clear the guiding principles: Strengthen Internal Quality and Build External Image. Only by strengthening school’s inner management can we build up school’s internal quality, while middle-level cadre group turns out to be the key to inner management. Tan therefore expressed his demand that all middle-level cadres should study to raise their political awareness and enrich their thoughts. Through training, school will build a middle-level cadre group, which possesses the courage, the skill, as well as the ability to make achievements.

Then, centering on school’s reform and development, the four school leaders put forward their working thoughts and requirements.

Vice Headmaster Wang Yuzhang gave a speech titled “On School’s Development Goal and Working Plan”, in which Wang provided a comprehensive elaboration on the school’s development goal and working plan and brought forward a deep analysis on the Three-Year Plan for School’s Development. In the following three years, he said, we would strive to build up a school featuring a richer cultural tradition, a more qualified teaching faculty, and more outstanding educating characteristics, a school with its special advantages, a school being among the top in Shandong Province and the first class in China, a school enjoying high prestige around the world. To accomplish this goal, Wang emphasized the construction in three aspects: school’s culture, teaching faculty and teaching conditions.

Vice Headmaster Chen Dehai delivered a report on “Our Love and Obligation to Nurture School’s New Glory: How to Strengthen Our Work on Students”. Chen stated the current condition, background and measures of our work on students.

Vice Headmaster Liu Congjun’s report is “Raise Leader’s Awareness and Be a Qualified Policy Maker, Manager and Executor”. In addition, Liu made a systematic and all-around analysis of school’s management.

Party Secretary Tan Yinghai made a speech “A Tentative Analysis on Middle-Level Cadres’ Quality and Ability”. In his speech, Tan pointed out that the strength of implementing policies and work effectiveness of all cadres decided whether our work in this term could present fresh progress.

Over the meeting, grouped in three parts, all middle-level cadres present held a deep discussion on school leaders’ reports, studying the spirit and exchanging their thoughts.

At the end of the meeting, Headmaster Wang drew a conclusion for this middle-level cadres training.
