After fierce competition, Zhao Anuan of Class 13(headteacher: Wang Peiquan), getting No 1. of academic record, interview record and comprehensive ranking, was recognized as the candidate forPekingUniversity’s Real-Name Recommendation System of Secondary School Headmasters. The public notification period lasts for one week.

It’s the second successive year forHigh School Attached toShandongNormalUniversityto getPekingUniversity’s Real-Name Recommendation System of Secondary School Headmasters. On the basis of volunteering application and selection of the school, 11 students of Grade 3 participated in the interview. Learning ability, comprehensive quality and developing potential of students are regarded as emphasis of assessment. Ethical performance, academic record, personal strength and interview record cover 5%, 80%, 5% and 10% respectively.

The interviewing panel, composed of 9 school leaders, 5 teacher representatives, 2 representative of Parents Commission, 2 student representatives, abided strictly by Rules of Peking University’s Real-Name Recommendation System of Secondary School Headmasters edited by High School Attached toShandongNormalUniversity. The interview sequence was fixed by drawing cuts and the interviewees drew their compulsory questions at the scene. The interviewees were required to give self-introduction both in Chinese and English, answered the compulsory questions and questions put forward by interviewers, who would also read letters of their performance at home written by their parents. All the four performance records resulted in the comprehensive rankings, which were announced at the scene.

Zhao Anyuan, who finally got the recommendation opportunity, is a confident and open-minded student. She is industrious in learning, excellent in academic record and comprehensive in qualities. Her academic record ranked No. 1 of Grade for several times, and she takes the position of Commissary in charge of Studies as well. She takes an active part in such various activities organized by the school as the Environment Protection Society, English Society, Debate Competition, and Drama Festival. Having a wide range of interests, she is in favor of reading books of literature and history and takes the responsibility of script creation of Drama Festival. Her ideal university isPekingUniversity. As she said: it’s the cultural ambience of the university that attracts her. She hopes to continue practicing her leading ability after enrolling into the university, making herself more and more mature and attractive.
