The opening ceremony of the 7th CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University was held in the Music Hall of Tian Jiabing Teaching Building at 9 of 5th December. 197 representatives of 200 supposed representatives attended the ceremony. Fu Huafeng, vice-Secretary of Higher Education Committee of Shandong Province, attended and addressed the ceremony, together with Leng Jian, director of Organizing Section of Higher Education Committee. 50 former leaders of the university, together with members of the national committee of CPPCC, NPC of Shandong Province, CPPCC of Shandong Province, democratic parties, union of Non-party Scholars attend the meeting without voting rights. Representing the Sixth Session Committee of CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University, Shang Zhixiao addressed the meeting entitled “dedicate to innovation, keep on struggling, fight for promotion of scientific development in every field and construction of top-ranking comprehensive normal university”. The meeting was hosted by Zhao Yanxiu.

Shang Zhixiao hosted the Third Plenary Session of the 7th CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University, at which the Seventh Session Committee of CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University and the Seventh Session Committee of Discipline Investigation of CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University were voted and elected. 35 members constitute the Seventh Session Committee of CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University, and 19 members the Seventh Session Committee of Discipline Investigation of CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University. The meeting agreed and passed Work Reports of the Sixth Session Committee of CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University and the Sixth Session Committee of Discipline Investigation of CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University. The closing ceremony was held at half past three and Shang Zhixiao addressed the closing ceremony.

In the following Third Plenary Session of the Seventh Session Committee of CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University and the Seventh Session Committee of Discipline Investigation of CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University, members of standing committee, Secretary and Vice-secretary of the 7th CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University, together with Secretary and Vice-secretary of standing committee the Seventh Session Committee of Discipline Investigation of CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University were voted and elected. Shang Zhixiao was elected the Secretary, while Zhao Yanxiu and Xiang Laisheng the Vice-secretaries. Shang Zhixiao, Zhao Yanxiu, Xiang Laisheng, Qi Wanxue, Yu Tao, Zhong Duren, Tang Bo, Wang Shaohua, Chu Lejuan, Wang Huanbin, Zhang Wenxin were elected as members of standing committee of the 7th CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University. Chu Lejuan was elected as the Secretary of Committee of Discipline Investigation of CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University, while Wu Dezhong and Yang Cunchang the Vice-secretaries.

Representing 255 CPC Party members of the school, Wang Yuzhang, Tan Yinghai and Wang Bin attended the meeting. They bore the request and responsibility in mind, listening the meeting reports respectfully, attending the vote, taking an active part in the discussion and proposing for the development and reform ofShandongNormalUniversity. Tan Yinghai was elected as the member of the Seventh Session Committee of CPC Congress of Shandong Normal University.
