On January 17 the Parents’SchoolofHigh School Attachedto Shandong Normal University (AHS) commenced Parenting Salon in AHS Meeting Hall. Hosted by Li Hongbo, vice director of AHS Students Affairs Office, the salon attracted 13 parents to attend a speech given by Mr. Yu, a teacher from Ji’nan Boruizhi Educational Organization.

After expressing his recognition towards parents’ enthusiasm on learning, Li Hongbo briefly introduced AHS Parents’ School and released the arrangement for the following courses given by AHS Parents’ School.

Mr Yu from Ji’nan Boruizhi Educational Organization shared in his speech his view on “how to carry out effective communications with students in their adolescence”. Parents actively made use of the chance to consult and communicate with Mr. Yu. With such a platform like this salon providing much impressive information and educational inspirations and therefore positively accepted by parents, parents expressed their appreciation towards AHS in organizing such an activity as well as their hope for more activities alike.

AHS Parents’ School turns out to be the first of such a kind inShandongProvince, providing different forms of courses including academic speeches, online courses, parents’ salons and so on. Taking advantage of its culture characterized by college education, AHS opened the parenting salon with the purpose of benefiting teachers, students and their parents, upgrading parent-school cooperation and promoting the achievement in building a well-known high school with outstanding characteristics.
