From July 19 to 20 the final of Nike 2013-2014 China High School Basketball League was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. With their exquisite play style and smooth teamwork, Men’s Basketball Team of High School of Shandong Normal University (AHS) won the 2^ndplace.

AHS Men’s Basketball Team attended the national league on behalf of Shandong Province after winning the champion in Nike 2013-2014 China High School Basketball League (Shandong District). In group matches AHS Men’s Basketball Team respectively defeated Guangdong Experimental High School, Nanjing Foreign Language School, Xi’an Tie Yi High School and Shanghai Nan Yang Model School, after which they outmatched the host school in the semi-final and then advanced into the final to compete with Neng Ren Home Economic and Commercial Vocational High School for the championship. Over the final NBA super star LeBron Raymone James appeared in person to inspire the players and after fierce competition AHS team lost the game by a neck.

The coach Zhang Qingjiu thereafter presented an in-depth summary, praising AHS players’ well displaying their characteristics and capacity in spite of narrowly losing the match. AHS Vice Headmaster Liu Congjun delivered his full recognition on the team’s efforts and achievements, hoping them to continue to exert themselves and strive for better accomplishments.
