ACTS National Final of China Campus Overall Quality Contest, held inBeijingrecently, drew to an end. Students from High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) stood out among the best contestant schools, with one gold, three silvers and three bronzes gained.

During the contest, depending on their overall and sound quality as well as the spirit of vitality and being fully involved, AHS students displayed their excellence , Wang Yixiang rewarded “National Oral English Gold”, Duan Hongyi and Jiang Wenchuan granted “National Oral English Silver”, Zhang Zhengtao “National Reading and Writing Silver”, Huang Zeyu gaining “National Oral English Bronze” and “National Reading and Writing Bronze”, Wu Jingang “National Mathematics Exploration and Application Bronze” and Li Xue granted “Gold Facilitator of ACTSChina Campus Overall Quality Contest”. All these achievements marks a breakthrough of AHS in the contest.

ACTSChina Campus Overall Quality Contest is a nationwide competition with students volunteering to attend. The competition has earned the recognition and strong support from international educational institutions inChina,America,Australia, Hong Kong, Tai Wan,Canadaand many other nations or areas as well as many scholars and experts in a variety of education or research departments. With its object of “progressing up, achieving high and growing talented”, its spirit of “being higher, faster and stronger”, its philosophy of “participation being the first and process being the important” and its assessment principle of “valuing students overall academic quality instead of just their academic scores”,ACTSChina Campus Overall Quality Contest has provided for youngsters a stage to display, realize, face and challenge themselves.

As has been known, inACTSChina Campus Overall Quality Contest held in previous years, AHS has won 23 golds, 52 silvers and 42 bronzes all together in Mathematics Exploration and Application, English Reading and Writing, English Oral and Chinese Reading and Writing. AHS Students’ outstanding performance in this term has fully displayed AHS’s education philosophy of “taking students the first and achieving their overall development” and its education objective of “cultivating students with AHS quality”.
